Our Story
Founded in Ohio in 2015, MinusG was built on a simple belief: everyone deserves exceptional baked goods.
I'm Katherine Gardner, a fifth-generation baker whose love of baking began long before MinusG. Growing up, the kitchen was a place of creativity, tradition, and connection—a place where recipes were shared, memories were made, and food brought people together.
When I was diagnosed with celiac disease in 2004, I found myself searching for gluten-free foods that delivered the same flavor, texture, and satisfaction as the baked goods I had always loved. Instead of lowering my expectations, I returned to what I knew best: baking.
Drawing on generations of baking knowledge, I began developing my own flour blends and recipes, carefully refining each one until it met the standards I believed great baking deserved. Family and friends became eager taste-testers, often surprised by the flavor, texture, and quality of the breads, cookies, cakes, and pastries they enjoyed.
What began in my home kitchen became MinusG.
Today, MinusG creates premium baking mixes in a dedicated gluten-free facility using thoughtfully selected, non-GMO ingredients and whole-grain flour blends. From cinnamon rolls and breads to cookies, cakes, and pizza crusts, every recipe is crafted with one goal in mind: to create baked goods so delicious that everyone around the table can enjoy them.
For more than a decade, MinusG has been helping families create memorable meals and baked goods without compromise. We believe gluten-free baking should feel abundant, not limiting; welcoming, not complicated; and above all, incredibly delicious.
