Strawberries and Whipped Cream Waffles

Waffles are a breakfast favorite in our family. Especially when topped with fresh fruit and vanilla sauce. 

Ingredients:

Whipped Cream
  1. Measure pancake mix into a large bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, add milk and eggs and whisk together. Gradually add butter and stir.
  3. Pour over pancake mix and stir until combined. Let sit 5 minutes.
  4. Heat waffle maker brushed with butter or oil to keep from sticking.
  5. Pour ½ cup batter for each waffle.

Make Whipped Cream 

  1. Add Cream and vanilla into the metal bowl of a stand mixer.
  2. Using an electric mixer, beat ingredients on low speed, gradually increasing speed to high, and beat until stiff peaks form. Don't over-beat, but don't stop beating until cream has reached a thick, billowy consistency
  3. Keep unused whipped cream refrigerated in an airtight container.
